What does identity verification mean in LoopClub?

LoopClub’s identity verification is implemented as part of access to an app for women aged 18+. The app is in development and is not in the stores yet. Verifying identity does not certify behaviour or guarantee safety, attendance or friendship.
Why does this step exist?
The project has an ID and selfie verification flow with profile eligibility controls. Its purpose is reviewing identity and access, not assessing whether someone will be a good friend. The integration and rules exist in code, but this page is not evidence of an audit or regulatory approval of the process.
What should you check before providing data?
- That you are using the official app flow once published.
- Current terms and a completed, reviewed privacy policy.
- Which data the process requests and where to ask questions.
- Do not send copies of documents to organisers or plan chats.
What does a verified account not guarantee?
It does not guarantee attendance, respect for boundaries or a suitable venue. Keep checking the place, time and costs. Choose a public point and arrange your return. It also does not mean LoopClub booked a table, contracted an activity or reviewed a participant’s chosen route.
What information are we not promising?
We do not publish an approval deadline, success rate or data retention arrangements that need confirmation in the final policy. Contact the team with identity or access questions. Meetup guides work without submitting documents or registering.

Does identity verification guarantee safety?
No. It does not predict behaviour or replace decisions about the venue, travel and meetup boundaries.
Does this website ask for ID?
No. This website’s public guides do not require registration, a selfie or an identity document.
Where can I ask about the process?
Use the site’s contact page. Do not post identity documents in a group or send them to another participant to manage your access.
Where LoopClub fits
LoopClub is in development and is not available in the app stores yet. It is designed for women aged 18+ in Buenos Aires: plans by neighbourhood and interests, identity verification and group chat. You can already use this website’s guides. We cannot guarantee friendships, attendance or safety at a meetup.
